Our leatherworking course takes place in a fully equipped, vibrant workshop, where we have been creating unique leather goods ourselves since 2011.
This is not a space set up just for the course – it’s a fully functioning workshop, full of professional tools, machines, and an inspiring atmosphere.

What will we do?

Theoretical part:
You’ll get to know the basic materials and tools used in leatherworking.
You’ll learn which materials are most commonly used and which tools are necessary at different stages of working with leather.

Practical projects:

Vegetable-tanned leather business card holder:
In this task, you’ll learn how to prepare leather for work using the proper treatments.
You’ll get familiar with tools for punching stitching holes and master hand-stitching techniques.
Additionally, you’ll learn the classic method of finishing leather edges, giving your work a neat and professional look.

Natural leather cosmetic pouch with zipper and lining:
In this project, you’ll learn how to design and sew a leather cosmetic pouch from scratch.
You’ll learn how to fit the zipper to a specific length and how to thin leather — both by hand and using a skiving tool.
The pouch will be sewn with a machine, using single and triple-feed stitches.
